Happy 2011!

Better late than never they always say.
2010 sped by quickly especially since my last post.
2010 had it's ups and downs, Josh and I celebrated our 5th anniversary.
We lost a very good family friend, which has made the holidays a little emotional.
I went on a kid-free vacation with my mom and some awesome ladies.
This Christmas was amazing and fun because it was the first year that the kids really got into it. They were excited to leave Santa a note, cookies and milk, Reindeer food that Brie made at school, and a picture of Santa that Brodie colored at school daycare. They enjoyed receiving a letter back form Santa, and seeing the leftovers of the Reindeer food.
Brodie turned 3 which is a miracle, because my sweet boy is very clumsy. Brodie makes us laugh all the time, he is like his Uncle Buddy (my brother), he is going to be the class clown. For a boy he is very verbal and has been since he was abut one and a half. His favorite things are to play dress up in his super hero costumes. B-man loves music, (actually both kids do) and asked for a drum set like our music leader's at church. So Santa brought him a neat little toddler drum set that has two snares, a foot drum, and a symbol. He amazed us with his super mad skills, and he figured out that he can sing and play the drums the too.
Brie turned 7 this year, I can't believe she is getting so close to being 10. Time has flown. Brie is super smart and does very good in school. She is the model student, she has managed to make 100 on her conduct folder every week, and her "best friend" sits at her table with her. I am the head room mom for her class this year, and she takes great joy in the fact that I am able to be at all her class parties. For Christmas Santa left Brie a SEVEN doll set of Disney Princesses, which she loves, and a Glitterizer Barbie thingy that has left our living room looking like Tinkerbell threw-up glitter everywhere!
I'd say in all it was a very good year, and even though we lost our Papa Ron, we are so grateful that he is no longer suffering.
