July Happenings

We haven't been doing much lately but the kids sure do keep us laughing. Lately their favorite song is Boots On... we have the video on iTunes. The kids dance around & sing & Brodie thinks it's the greatest song.
I posted some more pictures of our goings on so here they are.

Reminds me of The Outsiders, but that is NOT a cigarette. He is being like his Poppa & putting a pencil behind his ear. He can't do it himself so he has to have someone do it for him.

He likes to help Josh wash dishes so I got em working together.
He realized I was taking pictures & had to stop & pose.

He loves to show off his wrinkles when he gets out of the bath. I thought his feet looked too cute!

It rained some this week & there was a nice little drizzle going on so I decided to let them play in it....
this was all she did. (kids, SHEESH! the one time they CAN play in the rain they DON'T want to)

Brodie did stay out longer. He got fairly wet.
NOW FOR THE BIGGEST NEWS!
Brie lost her first tooth.
She had the thing barely hanging on by a thread for days & finally I told her if she didn't get it out I would do it. (I HATE TEETH & the thought of actually having to do it was VERY disturbing.)
Here she is right after getting it out. Ya know how they bleed and all? She totally hated that part, it really freaked her out.

Here she is all cleaned up & toothless!
Our next adventure is VACATION! WOOHOO!!!!!
We are going to Houston to stay with Josh's sister (Barbi - yep that's really her name), & taking the kids to Galveston to the beach & Moody Gardens (my favorite place!).
Then we are going to go to San Marcos & shop... woohoo! for kindergarten clothes ... boohoo! after that we will make our way to Austin & stay at one of our favorite places.
... that is in a few weeks but for now I gotta go feed my kids & nephews lunch.
I have them for the weekend got em yesterday & taking them back tomorrow. This is the first time I've had both of them. So far so good... they are lots of fun. Being an aunt is awesome.
