Last week was dress up week at school for drug awareness.

Monday was sister's birthday and favorite sports team day - RANGERS all the way!!

Notice the pink pancakes that Josh made Brie, isn't he an awesome daddy to

make his baby girl PINK pancakes?!

Tuesday - Crazy Sock day

 

 Wednesday - Favorite college day! TEXAS TECH of course!!!

Thursday - Camouflage day!

 I had to show a picture of her pigtail bows!! Camo of course!!

Friday was wear red & jeans shirt, I forgot a picture, so "4 out of 5 ain't bad"!

For Brie's Birthday (Oct. 24) I attempted my first pillowcase dress. I have been wanting to make one for a while but just didn't trust myself. I already had the material for something else I made, so I thought there was nothing to lose. Here is her dress and the bow I had a lady make for her.

This is my adopted daughter. She is a member of our youth group, and we have taken her under our wing. She is an amazing young lady and we treat her like we do one of our own kids. She was nominated for Homecoming Queen, and I got the privilege of shopping for a dress and helping her get ready for the parade and to go onto the field. She will graduate this year and we are going to miss her so very much.

Project 52-38

We went to the homecoming parade in September! The kids like to see people they know riding on floats, marching in the band, and of course they love the candy that gets thrown.

 This is Brodie's friend from daycare. His friend said, "hey take a picture of us"

and then they posed. It was really cute.

The boy with the sunglasses is Brie's buddy Cutter.

He is six weeks older than her and they are good buds.

This is Cutter's sister Cailee, she is a day younger than Brodie.
