Project 52-9

Before we get started I am going to tell you a little about Josh's side of the family, since I never talk about them. Josh is one of five kids (CRAZY, I know!), and is second oldest. His oldest sister, Barbi (makes me think of the song), lives in Houston, so we hardly ever see her. After Josh is Shoni, who is six years younger, Chelsi, who is seven years younger, and Caleb, who is nine years younger. The girls live near by and we see them often.

Josh's mom celebrated her Birthday March 2, and we spent all day the next Saturday with his parents and siblings. Shoni and her boyfriend Casey wanted to take Brodie to the Monster Truck thing in Wichita. It was decided that all the boys would go and the girls would do something else (thank goodness).

We all met and ate supper together, and then went our separate ways. I had a few errands I needed to run including going to Dillard's to see if they had the Easter dress I wanted for Brie. So we looked around and didn't find what I wanted, then we went and tried on all the lovely hats. We finally decided we would go bowling. We had a blast bowling and Brie beat us all. ;)

The boys said Brodie had fun at the Monster Truck, and he was SUPER excited the whole time.

After everyone was done, we all met back at Shoni & Chelsi's apartment. The kids spent the night with the girls and had even more fun. I must say, the girls sure do spoil my kids!

Shoni made Minnie a sunflower (her favorite flower) Birthday cake. It was so cute!!

Minnie & Chelsi

This is the funniest picture, Shoni is pointing to the scoreboard and Brie was excited (maybe this was the time she got a strike) Chelsi and I said they were saying, "Praise the Lord!!"

What happened Aunt Shoni?

Project 52-8

Here she is my drama queen.
Cheerleader by day.

Batgirl by night.

2 weeks ago when it was warm, Brodie and I went to the park for a picnic and he played. We had a good time and he really enjoyed his "mama time".

He got to the second bar on the monkey bars... I didn't get that picture because he was making me nervous.

Love those blue eyes!!

.

A closeup of those blue eyes and a little dirt on his nose.

52-7

Brodie was sick on Valentine's Day, thus the pale and pasty look.

He did act a little silly, but overall he didn't feel very good that day.

My silly little girl.

One last pose.
Minnie was in town for Valentine's Day, so she could watch Brodie so I could go to Brie's class party. The kids got all kinds of stuff from us and their grandparents.

52-6

So when the blizzard or whatever that horrible snow storm was came through and we were snowed in for 4 days. The kids weren't able to go outside but once for a VERY short time because they were already coughing.
We celebrated Josh's Birthday, but weren't able to go anywhere, but I think he had a good day.

I waited till the last minute to make Josh's cake, and we were in a hurry to decorate it before he got home, so we put the icing on hot and it started melting so I took a quick picture so he could see what it looked like before it turned to goo! I didn't take a picture of it, but the kids decorated it with sprinkles too.

Brie not real sure about the headband. She is not real good at matching.

My loves, all bundled up. We put "hanks" as B-Man calls them over their faces to help keep the cold out.

Project 52-4

I'm a week behind due to the fact that we were a host home for Disciple Now, and because I was exhausted and forgot to post a picture.

I am posting this picture because this is my brother from another mother, and he has been sent overseas. He joined the army and has completed all his training and left last weekend. I pray God's safe arms protect him while he is gone. I love you, baby brother!!
